DIY Tomato Ice cubes for face and skin

Hey people ,,

Today I’m going to share with you a DIY which I tried a couple of days back, that is.. tomato ice cubes. Trust me, it is super easy to make and has given me amazing results in just a 5 days.ย  Most of you might have tried rubbing ice for face or even tried applying tomato paste for face. If you have tried you might be knowing how good are these two things for your skin. I just tried to combine these two concepts.

So basically, rubbing ice on face is very beneficial, it refreshes the face, prevents the formation of wrinkles, fight acne, control blemishes, reduces puffiness, improve blood circulation and gives a better complexion. Rubbing ice before makeup acts as a primer and gives a nice base. it also helps makeup stay longer.

Tomatoes are great for skin too, they act like astringent and shrink pores, fight acne, fight blackheads, reduces oiliness of skin,ย  gives a nice glow and improves skin tone. Tomatoes are also believed to remove tan and lighten the skin tone.

So, Just try this DIY and achieve beautiful skin ๐Ÿ™‚

Things you need for Tomato Ice cubes:

1.tomatoes

2.water

3.blender

4.refrigerator , ๐Ÿ˜›

How to do:

Take 1 tomato and put it in a blender and make very smooth puree. Take out this puree and strain it wellย  so that the small bits of peel or seeds don’t hurt while rubbing the tomato ice on your face.ย  To this add 2 cups of water, mix well and put it in ice tray and let it freeze for few hours. Once the tomato ice is set you can use it for rubbing on to your face and then wash your face with cold water.

I have been gently rubbing these ice cubes for a week now and It has given me best results. It’s an amazing toner, it gives me fresh and plump look to my face,ย  it has reduced acne and has given me better complexion, it also shrinks pores upon using. But as I have a normal-dry skin I feel that it further dries out my skin.ย  So I apply a serum or my usual Bio oil ( click for reviewย Bio-oilย  ย ) after using it.ย ย  But generally, I am happy with the results. If you have oily skin then you must try this DIY.

Things to remember:

You can apply ice directly on face but it is advisable to cover the ice cube with a towel as applying directly can break capillaries .ย  Do not use it for too long. one ice cube is enough for the day.

Variations :

You can try the the same with green tea, lemon drops(only if your skin is very oily), chamomile tea strawberry, orange, cucumber etc. I will make these variations and post pics soon. Not just face and neck you can use it anywhere on your body.

Do try this DIY and let me know.ย  I will be back with more posts, stay tuned

Thank you.

C ya ๐Ÿ™‚ XOXO
